The Keeper’s Kitchen is fully licensed and offers freshly prepared 3-course dinners with a selection of amuse bouches (free treats from the kitchen). 

Both Michelle and Reidar are well seasoned cooks who enjoy experimenting with different flavour profiles and creating original dishes using everyday ingredients. 

Visitors, as well as overnight guests, are invited to dine by reservation only. It is important to note that due to the secluded location, The Keeper’s Kitchen does not hold normal hours like a restaurant or cafe. 

Based on reservations, dinner is served at 6:30pm unless prearranged for another time that is suitable to all diners. 

The menu is a set menu in that everyone receives the same dishes. It changes daily based on supplies, repeat diners and dietary restrictions we've been given in advance. 

Dinner is $49.95 plus HST per person. Wine pairing may be added to your meal for an extra $30 per person. We also have house wines, a limited selection of beers and spirits and other beverages available for purchase.


Sample Dinner Menu

Amuse Bouche #1: Grilled Peaches with Italian Prosciutto on a drizzle of honey, topped with pine nuts & basil

Starter: Scallops and shrimp nestled inside torn pieces of a croissant baked in a white wine cream sauce and topped with sharp white cheddar broiled to perfection. 

Amuse Bouche #2: A pan-toasted crostini with goat cheese dipped in honey and rolled in cranberry, rosemary and walnuts 

Main: Italian Chicken Roulade - chicken breast stuffed with basil pesto, Italian prosciutto, roasted red pepper and shaved parmesan baked in our own tomato sauce and served over basmati rice.

Dessert: Local seasonal berries (bakeapples, marshberries, blueberries, etc.) stirred with sugar, folded into whipped cream and stuffed inside a Norwegian 'krumkake' (pastry cone).
